Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) In pursuance of the orders of the Government in G.O.MS.No.36, School Education. (Exams) Dept., dated:23/12/2015 ONLINE applications are invited for “Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET 2016) from candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana on Sunday, 1st May 2016 in all 10 Districts of the State. TSTET is Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test for the candidates who are looking for Telangana DSC. Those candidates who qualify in TSTET can apply for TSDSC Recruitment Exam.
The application format is made available in website from 16.03.2016 to 31/03/2016.The eligible candidates can make application online for recruitment to the posts of School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits, Physical Education Teachers in Government, ZillaParishad, MandalParishad), Agency Schools under the control of the District Educational Officers and Schools under the control of Municipalities in the State through District Selection Committee.

Telangana TET (Teacher Eligibility Test)
Age: 18 years to 40 years. However, in case of SC / ST / BC candidates the maximum age limit shall be 45 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 50 years. Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY:
(1) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and professional/ training qualifications as follows:-
(a) Must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications.
(b) (i) Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or other equivalent certificates recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana.
(ii) Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
(iii) Teacher Education Courses recognized by National Council for Teacher
(iv) Distance Mode courses offered by Universities and Deemed Universities recognized by Joint Committee comprising University Grants Commission, Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State of Telangana.
(v) Special Education Courses recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.
(vi) The candidates should have either been qualified in earlier APTETs OR should obtain minimum qualifying marks in the present TSTET. However, this is not applicable in case of PETs and School Assistants (Physical Education).
Selection Process: Written Test.
TSTET 20% weightage in Telangana DSC
The TSTET qualified candidates will be given 20 % of weightage for Telangana DSC. In respect of appointments in private / un-aided schools or any other educational Institutions, the above Integrated Test Certificate will be valid for a period of 1 (One) year. A Certificate will be issued to the candidates who are fulfilling minimum requirement in the above Integrated Test by obtaining minimum qualifying marks prescribed at Rule 6 .
TSTET Exam Pattern:
The total marks shall be 150.
TSTET 2016 Paper 1 & Paper 2 examination is scheduled to be held on 01.05.2016. TSTET PAPER – I is for (I to V classes) & APTET PAPER – II is for (VI to VIII classes). Candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.
TET 2016 duration and timings:
Telangana TET 2016 Paper-I: 9.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
Telanagana TET 2016 Paper-II: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)
The written test shall be conducted in all the districts. A candidate shall appear for the written test in the district in which he seeks recruitment.
TSTET Exam Syllabus: The syllabus prepared for TSTET examination-2016 is hosted in the Website (www.tstet.cgg.gov.in). The candidates may download and prepare themselves accordingly.
Application Fee: The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- towards application processing and conduct of Test through TSONLINE, e-seva centers and through Payment Gateway between 16.03.2016 and 30.03.2016. Last date for submission of application online is 31.03.2016

Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at http://aptet.cgg.gov.in from 20.04.2016. In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Commissioner and Director of School Education and Ex-Officio Director, APTET, Saifabad, Hyderabad
